Workshops at the ICAAC 2013 will be held on Monday, September 9 at the Colorado Convention Center.
The France Foundation is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The France Foundation designated this live activity for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
The American Medical Association (AMA) has determined that physicians not licensed in the U.S. who participate in this CME activity are eligible for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
Diplomates of the American Board of Medical Microbiology, Diplomates of the American Board of Medical Laboratory Immunology, and Registrants of the National Registry of Certified Microbiologists who are MDs and DOs may earn AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ toward recertification. All other Diplomates and Registrants may claim Participation, CA or FL credits toward recertification. Each professional should claim credit commensurate with their level of participation in the activity.
California Clinical Laboratory Scientists (CLS)
The American Society for Microbiology is accredited by the California Department of Health Services to offer continuing education for California Clinical Laboratory Scientists. All sessions designated for CME credits will also qualify for California CE credits toward CLS license renewal.
Florida Clinical Laboratory Personnel
The American Society for Microbiology is accredited by the Florida Department of Health to offer continuing education for Florida Clinical Laboratory Personnel. All sessions designated for CME credits will also qualify for Florida CE credits toward license renewal.

You may obtain a Participation Statement of Credit by completing the activity evaluation. This is a detailed statement that documents your participation in the activity.
The France Foundation adheres to ACCME Essential Areas, Standards, and Policies regarding industry support of continuing medical education. Disclosure of the planning committee, content reviewers, and faculty's commercial relationships will be made known at the activity. Speakers are required to openly disclose any limitations of data and/or any discussion of any off-label, experimental, or investigational uses of drugs or devices in their presentations.

In accordance with the ACCME Standards for Commercial Support of CME, The France Foundation will implement mechanisms, prior to the planning and implementation of this CME activity, to identify and resolve conflicts of interest for all individuals in a position to control content of this CME activity.
The primary purpose of the sessions at ICAAC 2013 is education. Information presented, as well as publications, technologies, products, and/or services discussed, are intended to inform you about the knowledge, techniques, and experiences of professionals who are willing to share such information with colleagues. A diversity of professional opinions exists in the fields discussed at ICAAC and the views of the ICAAC faculty are offered solely for educational purposes. Faculty's views neither represent those of ASM nor constitute endorsement by the association. The ASM disclaims any and all liabilities for damages to any individual attending ICAAC and for all claims which may result from the use of this information, publications, technologies, products, and/or services at ICAAC.
Registration for the workshops is separate from ICAAC and available online and onsite. A minimum of 20 attendees is required to hold a workshop. If the minimum is not met, ASM reserves the right to cancel a workshop.
To register for a workshop online, enter the appropriate workshop code on the registration form. The codes (5-XX) are listed with the workshop descriptions. The workshop registration fee is not included in the ICAAC registration fee.
Individuals who did not register for a workshop before the online registration deadline may register onsite if the workshop has not reached capacity. Onsite registrants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and the workshop rate will increase by $50. Workshops frequently sell out prior to the meeting, therefore, onsite registration will NOT be available for sessions that reach capacity. ASM will publish updates on closed workshops on the ICAAC website.
